Danielle Munoz, a regional vice president for Sunrise Management, has been lauded as among San Diego’s top “40 under 40” professionals by The Daily Transcript.

According to The Transcript, a leading San Diego business publication, the special supplement — published May 16 — showcases the young talented professionals driving San Diego’s success stories. Editors and reporters considered emerging talent in law, construction, real estate and the public sector to find 40 professionals whose skills, integrity and leadership embody the very best the region has to offer.

With over 18 years of experience in the multifamily industry, Munoz is currently responsible for the supervision of the Southern California region, which consists of 6,000 apartment homes, 60 multifamily buildings, and a team of 146 associates. In this capacity, she provides leadership, support and development for all corporate team members supporting regional operations. She is charged with the success of every property in the region – with ¬responsibilities including fiscal oversight, marketing plans, budget and financial analysis, and operation of investment properties to meet client’s real estate investment goals.

She is past president/chair of the California Apartment Association board, serving as vice chair from 2013-2015. During her four-year tenure on the CAA board, she raised funds for the PAC committee, determining how to allocate funds and which political affiliates would help move proposals in the right direction for the multifamily industry.

A licensed real estate agent, she holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts from Occidental College.
